Monthly subscription fees on the marketplace
The first fee that applies when you want to become a Kaufland seller is the monthly subscription fee. This is either €39.95 per month or €49.95 per month. The choice between the two depends on your needs:
The monthly subscription fee of €39.95 is a single basic fee for all Kaufland marketplaces.
It entitles you to multi-channel marketing, personal assistance, top-quality customer support, multiple payment methods for all countries and a monthly changeover that can be cancelled at any time.
The €49.95 package entitles you to the same features, with a link to your online store included.
Please note: Basic fees are charged in the local currency of the corresponding marketplace. There are no base fees or link fees to your online store for the first 30 days following registration on the Kaufland online marketplace.
Commission costs per sale
For each sale made on the Kaufland marketplace, you must pay a commission fee calculated as a percentage of the product's selling price. The rates that apply depend on the different categories and sub-categories of the products concerned.
Here are a few more concrete examples to shed light on the commissions applicable to products sold on the Kaufland online platform:
- Computers, consumer electronics, robot vacuum cleaners: 7%,
- Major household appliances: 7%,
- Garden tools: 10%,

- All other categories: 13%.
Optional logistics management fees
Kaufland has chosen to make all its fees transparent. In addition to the mandatory fees (monthly subscription and commissions), there are also optional fees. Sellers who need assistance with their logistics can benefit from Kaufland's support in return for a logistics management fee.
These additional costs include product storage in Kaufland warehouses, order preparation, shipping and returns management. You can also entrust Kaufland with the management of customer service for your products, for a cost that will be proportional to the volume of customer interactions.
Optional advertising costs
Many sellers wonder how they can effectively promote their products. By using Kaufland's advertising services, you benefit from the best solutions for improving the visibility of your products. These include sponsored ads and banner ads.
Other potential applicable charges
Other charges may also apply. These include return and refund fees, currency conversion fees and your bank's own fees.
